- Food Aid in Brussels and Urban Citizenship
- Abstract
- Cities are woven into material flows, articulated globally through specific technical and socioeconomic production and consumption processes. In this article, we aim to enrich the knowledge on forms of food aid in the Brussels
Region and demonstrate their groundlevel diversity. By uncovering the distinct loci of action and the specific strategies that emerge at the confluence of food surplus flows, the article frames the appearance of material practices and potential acts of citizenship.
