- Drawing Lessons from Aldo Rossi’s Pedagogical Project
- Abstract
- Aldo Rossi taught at various schools for most of his life. His teaching between 1968 and 1975 was pioneering for reasons highly relevant today. It was based on the idea of the classroom as the space in which professor, assistants and students develop research. For Rossi, teaching was fundamentally tied to the definition of a scientific approach to the discipline, through the collective practice of research activities centred on the analysis of the (historical) city.
