Wonne Ickx

Wonne Ickx studied Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Ghent, Belgium
and Urban Studies at the Centre for Metropolitan Studies (CEMET) in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Since 2006 he leads the architecture firm PRODUCTORA in Mexico City, together with Abel Perles, Carlos Bedoya and Victor Jaime. Ickx has taught architecture at several institutions
in Mexico City, as well as at Harvard GSD (Cambridge, MA), UCLA (Los Angeles) and IIT
(Chicago). He is founding director of LIGA, Space for Architecture in Mexico City, an independent platform that since 2011 promotes emergent Latin American architecture. He is on the editorial board of Arquine since 2010.
