Tara Kennedy
practices and teaches architecture, with a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach. Working with John McLaughlin Architects since 2014, she coordinated the Making Ireland Modern exhibition in 2016 alongside various public and residential building projects. Tara Kennedy has expertise in collaborative public projects, engaging with a wide range of organisations and institutions. Prior to studying architecture she studied fine art, receiving a BA in Sculpture from NCAD (1st Hons) in 2005. In 2008 she co-founded the practice Culturstruction, and she was also a co-founder of the community-based design organisation ‘Commonage’. In 2018 she was co-curator/commissioner of ‘Free Market’, the exhibition at the Irish Pavilion at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale.
