Stefan Devolder

Stefan Devoldere isprofessor and dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Arts at Hasselt University. He was editor-in-chief of the Belgian architectural review A+, curated several interna tional art and architecture exhibitions and was involved in the Belgian contribution to the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2008, 2010 and 2012. As deputy and acting Flemish Government Architect, and as president of the Stadsatelier in Ostend and in Hasselt, he di rected several projects that used design re search as a policy preparation tool, the subject matter of his current research. He is a member of the editorial board of OASE.
