Pauline Lefebvre

Pauline Lefebvre is FNRS research associate at the Faculty of Architecture at Université libre de Bruxelles. The doctoral dissertation she presented in 2016 was on the recent encounters between architecture and American pragmatism. Her current research focuses on the social, political and environmental commitments involved in architects’ growing attention to building materials. In addition to numerous articles and chapters, she published a monograph on BC Architects & Studies with the Flanders Architecture Institute in 2018 and co-directed the edited volume Thinking-Making: When Architects Engage in Construction (2021).
