Lars Fischer
Lars Fischer is an architect and a founding member of Common Room, a socially engaged architectural and cultural practice concerned with the built environment, art and politics. He is a faculty member at KU Leuven, Faculty of Architecture, Campus Sint Lucas and a guest professor at the PBSA Düsseldorf, where he teaches architectural design with a focus on the mediation of an ecological architecture. Common Room has been published in numerous publications, such as Volume, Perspecta, Artforum and The New York Times.
Currently, Common Room is engaged in a research and exhibition project on architecture
and energy for the Galerias Municipais in Lisbon, Portugal (‘Disquietude: Architecture
and Energy in Portugal’).
