Julian Harrap
Julian Harrap is an architect and founder of Julian Harrap
Architects (JHA). After working for James Stirling and James
Gowan during and after his studies, Harrap established his own
practice in 1973, which has grown into a respected mediumsized office offering a full range of specialist architectural
services for the repair and restoration of historic buildings,
estates and landscapes, and for the design of extensions and
new buildings in historical settings. Notable projects include
the Sir John Soaneās Museum in London, the Neues Museum
in Berlin, the Museum of London Smithfield Market and the
Museum De Lakenhal in Leiden. JHA is currently working on
the Museum Mayer van den Bergh in Antwerp.
