Germain Meulemans

Germain Meulemans obtained his PhD in Anthropology from the
Universities of Aberdeen and Liège in 2017. He then moved to the
EHESS in Paris and the University of Grenoble, where he has
worked extensively alongside artists, science historians and urbanists.
His research focuses on the significance of urban soils in the soil
sciences, urban planning and gardening activism, and on the development of experimental, collective ethnographies for addressing the
politics of urban surfacing.
