Elena Palacios Carral

Elena Palacios Carral is an architectural
designer, researcher and teacher and holds
a PhD from the Architectural Association
in London. Her thesis explores what she
identifies as the studioification of the home.
She is a director at Forms of Living, an
architecture and research practice in London,
and as a Design Fellow at the University
of Cambridge, leading a design studio. She
has taught architectural design, history and
theory at various other UK universities.
Currently, she is curating and researching
an exhibition on architect MJ Long, with a
specific emphasis on a dollhouse Long
created for her daughter in the 1970s
