- The Only Good Architect Is a Dead Architect
- Abstract
- Some recognisable situations from contemporary design
practice in Flanders provide material to explore the phantom
concepts of ‘use’ and ‘appropriation’ in architecture. In
any event, use and appropriation are ideal supplements to
help digest an archaic division of labour in architectural
production. The question is whether the user can also become
a vital component of the architectural production process.
