- Curating the City-Making Process
- Abstract
- The Brussels ‘Parckfarm’ was developed as an experimental form of public space within the context of the biannual festival Parckdesign in 2014. By promoting a set of interlocking curating practices within the context of the festival, a multiplicity of actors become co-involved in the production of the Parckfarm in different capacities. The layered interplay between the designers and the locals led to the co-production, activation and appropriation of the Parckfarm in a manner that was able to outlast the duration of the festival.
