- Taming an ‘Undisciplined Discipline’: Constantinos Doxiadis and the Science of Human Settlements
- Abstract
This article discusses the work and influence of Constantinos Doxiadis and specifically addresses three methods typical of his work: the development of an international, interdisciplinary network; the formulation of Ekistics, the science of the human settlement; and the use of the diary as a means for reflection, communication and last but not least a method to draw up a self-affirmative profile.
