- Crossing Cultures of Urbanism: The Transnational Planning Ventures of Michel Écochard
- Abstract
This article considers the way French urban planner Écochard combined the methods and approaches of a variety of disciplines in his practice. For instance, it discusses how he introduced the geographical survey into architecture and urban planning, to be able to relate to the paradoxically distant position of the transnational urban planner.
