- Does 'Good Architecture' Deal with the Truth?
- Abstract
- If architecture cannot escape the zeitgeist, what relationship should it construct with knowledge and science? Morel advocates an architecture that establishes a close link with positivism. He seeks a balance between form, technique and the impact on society. Good architecture is the result of a search for the perfect form. It is closely related to the technical and technological aspects of construction. Yet it is above all the analysis of the context of which architecture is a part, of its place in technological evolutions and economic reality, that makes architecture good.
