- Re-Reading A.C. on L.C.
- Abstract
- In his contribution, Swiss art historian Stanislaus von Moos investigates Alan Colquhoun’s writing method by looking at his work on Le Corbusier. His historiography, Von Moos argues, is neither panoramic nor accumulative. Moreover, it cannot be read as critical theory or operative criticism, either. Von Moos argues that Colquhoun employs these different approaches simultaneously, using the ostensibly familiar as a mirror in which he sees reflected the ideas and concepts that have shaped our age.
