- Bovenbouw Architectuur A Conversation with Dirk Somers
- Abstract
- In his exchange with Hans Teerds and Véronique Patteeuw Dirk Somers of Antwerp architecture office Bovenbouw discussed the interest of associative thinking as an alternative to modern architecture’s continued desire for clear structures, the exploration of references as an impulse to challenge and disturb notions of ‘clarity’ and ‘functionality’, and the potential of overlap and differences.
