- A Construction of Time
- Abstract
- While the work of John Hejduk has often been celebrated in line with the autonomous work of his contemporaries, Hejduk’s projects offer an explicit relational approach to architecture. The sketches for his Victims project in 1984 demonstrate a narrative approach to architectural constructions, in which design drawings are accompanied by character descriptions and a fictional construction diary. They show that architecture is not a singular object but an ongoing process between its various actors.
