Colm mac Aoidh is an architect, researcher and writer with a background in visual communication design and an interest in urbanism, nature and culture. After studying at Dublin Institute of Technology, London Metropolitan University, and KU Leuven, and following a period spent working with various architecture practices in London and Ghent, he currently lives and works in Brussels. Alongside projects in architecture and urbanism, he writes and edits texts for academic journals, books and magazines, most recently co-authoring a monograph on the work of Belgian architect Marie-José Van Hee entitled More Home, More Garden, published in November 2019.

OASE editors Bart Decroos, Sereh Mandias, Elsbeth Ronner and Kornelia Dimitrova wrote a Call for Abstracts for OASE #112 with the theme “Ecological Aesthetics”. This
issue of OASE is interested in contributions that investigate the role
of aesthetics in contemporary ecological practices and discourses in
