BC Architects (Brussels Cooperation) started in 2006 as a loose cooperation between young Brussels architects and artists, which resulted in installations, re-search projects and open source design networks. The company now has two organisational structures, BC Architects, an architec tural design office in the normal sense, and BC studies, which re-searches how social design and architec-ture can contribute to the contemporary and global Zeitgeist in an independent way. Wes Degreef, urban visionary, realtopist, is an architect and co-founder of BC Architects and studies. He dreams about integrative urban design and archi-tecture, redesigning the city through in-tuition and integration. Ken De Cooman, a former audiovisual artist, musician, dancer and philosopher, is an architect and co-founder of BC Architects and studies. He cooperates with the faculty of Architecture of the University of Leuven (Belgium) and is a Lecturer at EiABC Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).
