Thierry Kandjee

Thierry Kandjee graduated as landscape architect at the ENSP
Versailles, where he taught for ten years. In 2005 he established
TAKTYK Paris-Brussels [landscape + urbanism] with architecturbanist Sebastien Penfornis, as a platform for research and action.
His PhD (RMIT Architecture and Design, 2013) investigates the
multiple roles of the gardener-urbanist in creating robust landscapes.
He holds the Landscape Chair at the Faculty of Architecture La
Cambre Horta of the ULB in Brussels, where he promotes research
and teaches on landscape creation and innovation.
