Sofia Singler

Sofia Singler is an architect and architecture historian based at the University of Cambridge, where she teaches design studio and lecture courses on modernism. A native of Jyväskylä, Finland, she trained as an architect at the University of Cambridge and the Yale School of Architecture, before completing a PhD in the History of Architecture, also at Cambridge. Her research interests lie in the history and theory of modern and contemporary architecture, with particular focus on Nordic modernism, the Aaltos and Sámi architecture.
