Maarten Liefooghe
Maarten Liefooghe is associate professor Architecture Theory, History and Criticism at Ghent University. His research revolves around historical and contem porary encounters between objects, practices, institutions and discourses of architecture, art, exhibition making and preservation. His doctoral research was into the architecture of artist museums. Current research is concerned with heritage discourses and with contemporary architecture culture: architecture exhibitions, competition culture, and notions
and policies of ‘architectural quality’.
