Linda Lapiņa

Linda Lapiņa is a researcher, a dancer and a psychologist. She works as assistant professor of Cultural Encounters at Roskilde University. Grounded in feminist theory, her research focuses on affects in contested urban spaces; race and whiteness, based on her ownshifting migrant positions in Denmark; and intergenerational loss and more-than-human embodied memory. She is working on developing affective, embodied methodologies for exploring multi-layered urban spaces, inspired by her earlier work with feminist-, sensoryand arts-based methods. She is affiliated with the research group Cultural Encounters at Roskilde University
