Joan Ockman

is an architecture historian, critic and educator. She is a Senior Lecturer Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and the Vincent Scully Visiting Professor in Architecture History at Yale University, New Haven, CT. Among her edited publications are the anthology Architecture Culture 1943-1968 (1993); The Pragmatist Imagination: Thinking about Things in the Making (2001); and Architecture School: Three Centuries of Educating Architects in North America (2012).
