David Escudero
is an architect and post-doctoral fellow at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM). His PhD dissertation was entitled Beyond Filmmaking: Searching for a Neorealist Architecture in Italy, 194X-195X. His research topics focus on the intersections between theory of architecture, cinema and representation, especially in dopoguerra Italy. He has been visiting researcher at the College of Environmental Design of the University of California, Berkeley (2017), at the gta Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture of the ETH Zurich (2017) and at the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca in Rome (2018). His most recent articles have been published in Journal of Architecture, European Planning Studies, LA+, and Trans Magazin.
