Cecilia Sjöholm

is professor of aesthetics at Södertörn University, Stockholm, where she has founded and developed the BSc, MSc and PHD programme in aesthetics. Sjöholm holds a PhD in comparative literature from Stockholm University as well as a PhD in philosophy, obtained at the Radboud University, Nijmegen. She has published extensively on the history of aesthetics. Her books deal with art and Greek tragedy, aesthetics and phenom enology. Sjöholm’s latest book is Doing Aesthetics with Arendt: How to See Things (2015).
