Andrew Leach

Andrew Leach is professor of Architecture and associate dean (Research) at the University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning. His recent books include Rome (2016), Crisis on Crisis (2017), Gold Coast (2018), Sydney School (2018, with Lee Stickells), and On Discomfort (2017, with David Ellison); older books include Manfredo Tafuri (2007) and What Is Architectural History? (2010). He was a 2017- 2018 Wallace Fellow at the Harvard Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, Villa I Tatti. Current writing treats the twentieth-century historiography of architectural mannerism and the history of architecture of New South Wales.
