Ana Ábalos

Ana Ábalos -Ramos holds a professional master’s degree (2004) and an international
PhD in Architecture (2016). Since completing her dissertation, supervised by Dirk van den Heuvel, her research has focused on the legacy of Alison and Peter Smithson, and her findings have been published in different media, including The Architectural Review,
McGuffin Magazine , Architectural Research Quarterly and the recent co- edition of the
book Alison & Peter Smithson Hexenhaus: A House for a Man and a Cat (2021). She combines education and research with her professional work at Abalosllopis Architects and currently teaches architecture in Spain.
