Elettra Carnelli

Elettra Carnelli is an architect and researcher,
currently pursuing her PhD at the ZHAW
(Zurich University of Applied Sciences)
and the Institute for the History and Theory
of Architecture (gta) at ETH Zurich. She
studied at the Accademia di Architettura in
Mendrisio, Switzerland, where she worked
as teaching assistant in 2016. She was
research associate at the Professorship of
Urban Design at TU Munich from 2018 to
2022, combining practical work with
teaching and research. Her current research
tackles professionalism, architectural practice
and its organisational aspects, with a focus
on Italian post-war architecture.
