Marjolein van Eig
Marjolein van Eig studied Architecture at Delft University of Technology and is the owner of architecture firm BureauVanEig. The office designs various urban development, housing and utility plans. The projects have received various awards and nominations, are regularly published and have featured in the Architecture Yearbook of 2014 and 2016. Besides architectural work, van Eig writes for various media including Archined and newspaper NRC. For de Architect she writes a section entitled ‘Het Detail’ (the detail). She wrote a book about end façades in housing projects. She is also a guest lecturer at Delft University of Technology and a member of the Architecture Advisory Committee of the Creative Industries Fund NL. In 2014 she received the Abe Bonnema Prize for the project ‘Koepel op de Overplaats’.
